"Take control of your Power Quality Data"
The Power Quality Compliance Audit (PQCA), formerly known as the Long Term National Power Quality Survey (LTNPQS), is a power quality monitoring and reporting project involving most electricity utilities on the Australian eastern seaboard. The project involves submission of data from the participating utilities to PQA who prepare reports on the data based on the reporting methods developed by the University of Wollongong. The significant benefit of this project is that it enables national power quality levels to be determined, greatly assisting in determining achievable power quality levels for regulatory and planning purposes.
- Do you have many power quality monitors on your network producing vast amounts of data?
- Are you unsure how to handle analysis and reporting of this data?
The PQCA will take your power quality data from any number of sites and produce reports which will allow you to: -
- Gain an understanding of power quality levels across your utility
- Compare your performance with that of your peers
- Identify worrying trends before they become a problem
- Make informed submissions to regulators
- Make educated asset management decisions
- Increase your financial returns by improving your power quality outcomes
The first LTNPQS reports were issued for the 2002/2003 financial year and 9 utilities from across the eastern seaboard participated. The project has now been running for years and over that time the number of sites included in the survey as well as the methods of reporting power quality have developed substantially. The PQCA now reports on in excess of 4000 sites across Australia. The latest reports will be the most comprehensive to date with many additional reporting features including enhanced trending, site factor analysis and sag performance contours.
